The Lesson Handouts are a condensed version of each of the 24 sessions in The Armor of God workbook and average 5 pages. There are also four quarterly Exams that can be used if desired. They are designed to be used in conjunction with workbook for mid-week services and Sunday school classes. Some have taught the study on Sunday mornings and/or evenings.
Their Purpose:
1) To give the instructor another option in how to conduct the class.
2) To save your staff many precious hours in creating your own outlines.
3) To get vital information into the hands of your student so they can have something substantial to take home for further study rather than take notes as you speak.
Options for Instructor:
1) So that one may benefit the most from this study, we recommend the purchase of one workbook and DVD series for the leader (there is no leader’s guide), and find a way to get a workbook into the hands of each member of your group.
2) If you prefer to teach from the workbook, then give class members the condensed handout of the lesson you are teaching that week so they can follow along. In this scenario, only you have the workbook. The answers to the blank lines on the handouts are found only in the workbook in each lesson’s Summary at the end.
Note: If you choose to give handouts, the student will need to purchase a one-inch 3-ring binder to put them in each week. Please note that when the study has concluded, the student will have a mini-book of 123 one-sided pages. The cost of all 24 handouts will eventually equal the cost of the workbook, so it’s better to just order the workbook, or else they will have missed out on much more information that’s contained in the workbook.
These handouts contain more information than just a one or two-page skeletal outline. So, if a skeletal outline is what you prefer, you will have to create them from scratch from the workbook. Please keep in mind that copying pages from the workbook is not permitted.
